Giacinto Santagiuliana, Vicenza, 1840-50

Both the son and pupil of Gaetano, who in turn is believed to have been one of Giorgio Serafin’s pupils, this instrument clearly reminds us of the Serafin family style with its rather small body, well rounded with longer corners and f-holes. It has a lovely warm-coloured varnish with a lovely cracked finish. It has deep, powerfull and rich sound.
